His inspirational talk combines the process of getting his book published by Random House, how he got Kate involved with digital insights to help activate business ideas.

In this workshop, presented by Galvin Davis you will learn:

- How embracing your creativity, at any age, opens up opportunities, at any age.
- The importance of asking ‘Why Not?’ when others ask ‘Why?’
- A strategy for designing a more productive life
- How to use creativity to gamify your goals

His key message is to 'never give up on creativity, no matter your age', so if you need an inspirational kickstart this is the event for you!

"What Our HDBM Members Say..."

Wonderfully supportive

Hills District Business Mums is a wonderfully supportive networking group that combines many of my networking goals – mixing with wonderful people, learning through the great speaker line up, meeting great mutually beneficial referral partners, and giving me the platform to showcase my expertise to aid many small business owners within the group.

The Hills District Business Mums networking events are a must on my calendar, due to the great vibe that I always experience. It’s lovely to meet people going through similar business ups and downs in a relaxed friendly environment.

Meet and connect

I have been attending the HDBM Networking events for several years now and I always get so much out of them. The key speakers are experts in their field. There is ample opportunity to meet and connect with other business mums. Highly recommend attending.

Highly recommend

I’ve been a part of HDBM since launching my business in September 2014, and I’ve always found the group to be extremely supportive and a fantastic resource! I’m always learning new things – whether it’s via the friendly Facebook group or via the empowering networking events.

After every networking event, I find myself feeling inspired and re-invigorated about my business. All of the women in the room are extremely approachable and relatable – probably because they are all seeking to find the elusive balance between business, motherhood, and life in general, just like me! And the events feature fantastic guest speakers on various business-related topics as well, so I always walk away with a piece (or a whole cake!) of new knowledge.

I highly recommend HDBM for anyone starting a new business, wanting to expand their business, or simply looking for a supportive group of women to help them along their business journey.

Wealth of knowledge

I’ve been a member of HDBM for many years now, and still learn from the wealth of experience and knowledge that is in the group. Everyone is so supportive and happy to see each others’ achievements – one of my closest friends in the group is a fellow florist!

The HDBM events get you out networking with fellow Mums who know what its like to run a business (while changing a nappy, and doing pick ups!) You will make life long friends as well as be in awe at what your fellow Mums have achieved… fantastic ideas, great support… and feel free to grab a Mentor!

You know the group is doing something right when our members include Mayors, Mermaids and Academy Award Winning Writers…not to mention 5000+ Mums!

Connect and feel supported

Attending the HDBM meeting provided me with the opportunity to meet and network with other women building their businesses. It was inspirational to meet all these likeminded people working in our local community. Also being self-employed it was a great way to connect & feel supported. I will be back!
